Hi, I have run into a problem installing dota2 on my mac. I have lion 10.7.5. When I install dota2, before it starts, I run into update suspended. I believe the issue is because there does not exist a steam folder in my application support folder.

Sep 25, 2013 · But the issue here is that the "Steam" folder doesn't exist under the "Application Support" folder. Am I missing somgthing here, or do these folders simply not exist? Was the SteamApp not correctly intalled? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! {I am currently running Lion 10.7.5}

Mar 07, 2017 · From Finder, hold down the Option key and click on the "Go" menu, then select the (new visible) "Library" item. This is the system library, and not the user library. You should now be able to locate the "Steam" folder in "Application Support."
