Will any of the Stalker games allow the use of a controller? I just bought the complete bundle and for some stupid reason I failed to check before buying. Anyways, I cant play games with only mouse and keyboard for medical reason. I can't beleive I did not check this before I bought.

I just bought a 360 Wireless controller for my PC and got it working. I noticed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC doesn't support a gamepad or controller normally since I can't map the keys to the controller. I browsed the board a bit, and noticed some loose details for some programs that allow to have the functionality of the controller for games like this.

Aug 27, 2017 · The developers have to add support for gamepads so they inevitably dumb the entire game down and simplify the controls. You'd probably not even be able to lean around corners with a gamepad, they'd have removed that for the console release, then that would be forced on your PC game and you'd have an inferior game.

Jun 09, 2015 · I3CAMPB311: Hi, I am trying to get my version of STALKER to recognise my controllers input to play the game. Ive a PS3 controller, connected via USB, MotionJoy to recognise inputs as Xinput, and Xpadder running to configure, however once STALKER loads, it simply stops recognising my controllers inputs.
