It depends on the authentication scheme; Squid does some caching when it can. Note: Caching credentials has nothing to do with how often the user needs to re-authenticate himself. It is the browser who maintains the session, and re-authentication is a business between the user and his browser, not the browser and Squid.

I got the app configuration working (WCF ServiceModel), it's using the default proxy credentials, the request is authenticating with the proxy, but after it authenticates with the web service it does not send the request body for some reason. The process works if I test locally without the NTLM proxy.
