Use these set up instructions to make sure that your SpeedStream 4100 modem is setup properly. Connect the straight-through Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the modem. Connect the other end of the straight-through Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your computer. Plug the DSL cable into the DSL port on the modem.

Mar 18, 2010 · Siemens Speedstream 4100 I have a 5 year old speedstream 4100 dsl modem and I hooked it up to a new computer that I just purchased. I thought something was wrong with the new computer because internet is extremely slow (.32Mbps download) but someone told me it might be that the modem is too old to deliver anymore.
