Create a channel with a solaris arch type on the server; Provisioning Clients == Registering Clients == Pushing Packages to Clients Pushing. On the Spacewalk Server run: 'solaris2mpm Recommended.zip' where Recommended.zip is your patch cluster or patch. This will create a bunch of mpm files.

Nov 11, 2013 · Hmmmm aside from the obvious business reasons, I wonder why Oracle is suggesting to create a 11g db! - Spacewalk has full feature complete pgsql support, and they've even stated in the mailing lists that any new features will be pgsql only as they don't plan on modifying the oracle schema except for critical business reasons!

Support is not provided for the upstream binary packages downloaded from the upstream Spacewalk community site. Oracle support for Spacewalk and Spacewalk Proxy is limited to customers with either Basic or Premier Support Subscriptions. Oracle will support both the latest and previous version of Spacewalk Server and Client deployed on Oracle Linux.
