Airplay 2: Existing Sonos One speakers not showing up I have upgraded my Sonos to the latest version which includes Airplay 2. In the settings page of the Sonos app it tells me I do not have any compatible Airplay speakers. I have 3 Sonos One speakers, 2 grouped together. Why are these not showing up?

I called Sonos tech support today, and they confirmed the Port only supports "up to 16-bit audio" as described on their tech support page: Sonos Support I pointed out that that page ^^ hasn't been updated since August, and the Port was brand new. Didn't change their answer - so I cancelled my Port order.

Sonos makes zero promises that it will continue to support these things. You should expect, therefore, that your Sonos products might only work for five years or so. Would you have knowingly invested thousands of dollars knowing that in the first place? This is a terrible move for Sonos.

Feb 08, 2019 · You may need to add the Sonos devicesto the netgear as static ips on the network and or add them as mac address allowex inside the routwr alsotry contacting Sonos Support they are well trained and 9 outof 10 times will be able to provide better support thenyou will get through netgear support anyways real talk.

If you buy separates, you can then control what device controls your speakers. I bought Sonos before and bitterly regret it now. I sold them second hand.They have trolls of staff on their Sonos forum and they behave with vile aggression. Customer support used to be good but now are very often not. AVOID SONOS AT ALL COSTS.

Wouldn't it be great to have SonoS support in Homey? I am surprised it isn't supported allready since I thought SonoS is really big but then again maybe I'm wrong.
