While the modem is unplugged configure the sonicwall as a static IP with the information pulled from the laptop. Then once this is done unplug the sonicwall. Plug the cable modem in, power 1 st then coaxial. Once the device is 100% up connect the sonicwall to the modem and turn on. Test connectivity.

Choose a USB cellular modem and plug modem into the SonicWall USB port. The SonicWall’s approved list is Wireless Broadband Cards and Devices (Wireless WAN USB devices) supported. Nov 05, 2017 · I called Dell last week and was given pre-sales info that the Verizon JetPack MHS800L would work with the Dell SonicWall TZ400 as an USB failover modem. Now when I called, I was told Dell does not support this modem and only supports the Pantech UML-290. Has anyone had success with these smaller more powerful units? Thanks in advace
