Dec 04, 2017 · Your Oracle Solaris Support contract also has a license that is associated with it. That license is only valid as long as the support contract is maintained. When support lapses, the license becomes invalid, and you are no longer entitled to any new fixes, patches, updates, etc.

Jan 16, 2018 · There is one Oracle lifecycle pdf which says Solaris 10 Premier Support would end on Jan 2018 and extended support would be there till Jan 2021. Please let me know if it is true and whether there would be separate contract for extended support and what difference will it make.
