Dec 21, 2006 · sure, any translation is going to cost you. if you can't find a softphone on linux that supports g729 then you need to explore other options. if translation isn't one you want to consider, maybe contacting the developer of a softphone you like and seeing if they can add g729 as a paid option.

Jun 11, 2012 · thanks for all your replies... I think what I am after is an 3CX windows client to support g729, it is a bit confusing to have the "demo" version of 3cx server with g729 enabled, but they do not supply a client that support g729 codec!
