Hopefully, the fact that you can buy Mac laptops with SSDs right from Apple means that they will do everything they can to provide OS optimization for SSDs, and TRIM should be a big part of it. Aug 10, 2009 · Does anyone know of a website with properly controlled experiments to see if TRIM (as currently implemented in Windows 7 betas) actually speeds up SSD's? I know that TRIM is a good idea that needs to be developed and implemented, but until it's actually been proven to work quickly and reliably, I don't want Apple to support it.
