Here's a quick fix -> Just use the juno update site to install a compatible version of PDT with the smarty plugin: (1) Start eclipse. (2) Under the help menu, click on install new software.

Feb 24, 2010 · Hi i have been using Aptana php plugin which had smarty support but now they have discontinued this wonderful plugin. so i am looking for another options. Aptana now promote eclipse PDT which does not have smarty support. i checked netbeans with smarty support but i did not liked it as its support is not upto mark as i wanted.

Has anyone managed to install the Smarty plugin into their PDT (LUNA) IDE normally? I've got it running using JUNO files by using the following steps (sequence is important): Using Windows Explorer, delete org.eclipse.php_3.3.0.201406110111 from the features folder of the Eclipse install.
