Jul 15, 2012 · When I do as you said.....go into Kies tools and click on on Filmware upgrade and initialization....that is where I get the message that started this thread "SGH-I727 does not support initializing" I can't enter a serial number anywhere...am I missing something?

Why are you doing that ? when your connected to kies click on your device name top left and it will then open another screen this is were it shows what firmware is on and if its upto date or if there is a update avalable going in the firmware settings can mess things up if kies says your device is upto date then the latest firmware has not been rolled out to you yet.

So here is my case, yesterday, my note 3 ran out of battery (aka 0%) but I'm outside and cannot charge (+ no powerbank) so when I came back home I charged it, but when I boot it up, it stucked in Samsung Logo, till now. What have I done: 1. Googling for help 2. Go to recovery mode and wipe cache partition 3.
