Jun 01, 2016 · NAS still supporting LMS are from Synology and maybe readyNAS since the latter is the only one, Logitech developed the LMS for by themselves. I run LMS 7.9 on a QNAP but since a vulnerability the official support was stopped. Otherwise there are instructions to run and update LMS on QNAP in the forums.

If SlimServer support is a criterion I suggest you use google to understand whether there are straightforward ways of configing these to run slimserver. Otherwise you'd might as well get a QNAP - it's pretty easy to setup notwitstanding the issues mentioned on this forum...

But for many older NAS like the Zyxel NSA325 running e.g. Debian with lms is a pretty fun thing. So imho supporting the older architectures should not be underrated, soon those architectures (okay, more armhf for sure) might be the last who use this fine piece of software.
