Apr 13, 2011 · Novell (NASAQ: NOVL) this week announced plans to extend the amount of time it provides support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) releases. The extended support comes as Novell releases the last Service Pack update for SLES 10. SLES 10 first debuted in 2006 and has had three previous service pack updates.

Jul 31, 2016 · Hi Could someone please point me to the technical specification for SLES 10. I need to review the minumum hardware requirements. [May 19, 2011] SLES 11 end of general support is 31 Mar 2019 So Suse (with extended support for which you need to pay more) now promises 10 years lifespan. See Release Notes for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Note: version numbers do not necessarily give the final patch and security status of an application, as Novell may have added additional patches to the specific version of an application.
