Could you perhaps redirect all your output to a text file?Something like: telnet a.b.c.d > showtechoutput (enter passwords) router#show tech router#exit where a.b.c.d is the IP address of the Cisco device. Would this work?

Just did a "show tech" on a Cisco Nexus for the first time... First of all this is technically defaulting to "show tech brief" and apparently there is a "show tech all". For comparison the "show tech" on a catalyst switch always seemed enormous to me, and weighed in at around 2MB of just text.
