Apr 21, 2010 · Editor: First off, I am a proud supporter of former Sheriff Gerald Hege and hopefully future sheriff of Davidson County. (David) Grice hasn't done anything for our county like Hege did. Hege had license checks and had the inmates out working, but I haven't seen Grice out doing that.I have never seen Grice out doing anything for the county like Hege did.
