Your server does not support SSL on the default port; Most won't. When you set SSL off, you get the message, "The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated" That tells you that you are not authenticated.

Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.

Dec 31, 2017 · But outlook is not support ssl as well as tls (995,465). Though 26 and 110 port is working on all outlook. im using domain.org for ssl and mail.domain.org for non-ssl. Outlook shows below error: login onto incoming mail server(pop3) : your server dows not support the connection encryption type you have specified.Try change encryption method.

The server does not support secure connections. Only on outgoing mail. The server is a Mac Server running 10.11. No other clients are having the same troubles. The clients are mainly 2011 outlooks and a few on 2016. Only one person if having this trouble.

Server does not support secure connection. Mke sure the correct server is specified or uncheck the reuirement for server connection option. This feature worked yesterday. Of course nothing chnged from our end. I removed the webservice and re installed. Did not help

May 23, 2017 · I'm not allowed to buy anything unless it's already broke. Which it clearly is. 2003 does not support TLS protocol, servers at the other end will refuse non TLS connections, while you may not have a budget (no one ever does), there is a difference between being asked to 'just fix it' and being practical about it.
