Dec 10, 2012 · All Support Packages delivered by SAP have been translated completely. Support Packages can be used to deliver missing translations, or correct incorrect translations. If you install a language after you have imported Support Packages into your system, you may have overwritten new Support Package translations with obsolete translations.

If you would have imported the language pack after applying support packages on top of the fresh installation , then you would have to import the language parts of the applied support package for the language that you have installed as the new translations would be overwritten by obsolete translations .
