Dec 24, 2018 · I am using SAP NetWeaver 7.5 and kernel 7.53 with Linux OS. The entries. While trying to decode what the entries meant : NiHLGetHostName: implementation doesn’t support IPv6 , one thing was clear that my system did not support IPv6. It only supported IPv4.But since my system is latest so by default does it need to support IPv6 or not?

We do have DirectAccess but no saprouter and no IPv6 so no DirectAccess is possible to use SAP. they have to connect to our VPN. We want to enable SAP for DirectAccess but we don’t want to setup a saprouter ...

Jun 25, 2014 · By default, SAP ASE is IPv6-unaware. Before starting SAP ASE for IPv6-aware operations, make sure your infrastructure is correctly set up. Once your operating system is correctly configured, you can configure and enable an IPv6 connection handler by adding an additional DCL entry.

Aug 14, 2009 · IPv6 is supported with BO XI 3.1and later version. BO XI R2 does not support IPv6. Becuase IPv6 is not compatible with IPv4, the swtich to IPv6 network is NOT transparent to BO products. Actually, to be IPv6 ready, we need to make quite a lot changes in the different areas of BO products, including SDK, Servers, and UI.
