The Safecom router is in one of the other person's room. The safecom router is roughly hand-sized, whereas to use a 2514 I would need a seperate switch as well which is a lot of noise and space to ask someone to put up with so I can study the CCNA. hehe. I may upgrade to a better Home router though, one that at least support RIP.

Oct 09, 2013 · Am Having bizzare problem. Sysinfo not included and am confident not computer hardware problem for reasons that will become clear. Safecom ADSL Router (SWART2-54125 ADSL2/2+) bit elderly, but has given no problems in the past.

I would like to connect my old safecom adsl router to another desktop (wired) to utilise it's printserver and connect via it's wireless to the HH. The home hub sees the safecom as a repeater but not as a device and I cannot see anything I connect to it. What settings do i need on the safecome please James
