Jan 15, 2016 · I just ran into this issue today with Safari 9.1 and the OS X 10.11.4 beta. Suddenly Safari refused to load a Sharepoint site that always worked before. It would just hang whereas Chrome worked fine. Fortunately I found this thread because as soon as I disconnected an SMB share that I was using Safari was able to load Sharepoint without issue.
