Jan 03, 2011 · Im running a micro ITX Linux server and need a Wireless USB device which runs in Master Mode. I have a Belkin F5D7050B USB stick and a Dlink 140 USB Stick but will not want to work in master mode. I have tried the rt2x00 drivers but they do not seem to support AP/ master mode.

Feb 04, 2009 · another reason for the need is because i never ever got ad-hoc networking to work. today i was in lowyat and saw this wireless usb adapter Planex GW-US54Mini2G, which on its product box has the description "Support Software AP". The product is packaged in a box similar to the dvd box that come with 3g usb modems.
