May 06, 2017 · My Roku 3 does not support CEC on any of my systems. My Roku Ultra does support it on all of my systems. My Roku 3 is an original year model, I just bought my Ultra a couple weeks ago. Both have volume controls. IIRC, the 3's volume control was originally only for when listening via headphones connected to the remote.
