    A short way down the thread a Roku rep lists a few models that support 1080i. There are several Roku's that support 1080i, The 2XS, Roku-3, Ultra, and some others should output 1080i if you've selected 1080p but the TV can only do 1080i.

By the way, there's plenty of 720p OTA stuff available (I believe Fox and perhaps other networks use 720p for their OTA broadcasts).
