Feb 02, 2019 · No support in Kodi and AFAIK the devs refuse (and rightfully so) to accept another non-standard halfassed decoder api into Kodi. While it's possible to find working forks, patches and hacks IMO this not enough. Unless rockchip provides proper vaapi or vdpau support my guess is that we won't be seeing proper Kodi on rockchip boards on linux.
