Rifle Suppression is a great utility skill, keeping your squad safe from return fire and locking enemies in position. While Heavies can get Suppression as well (earlier, and with more ways to augment it), this is a great ability for Supports working as Scouts to have as well since they allow to lock newly seen aliens.

Mar 30, 2014 · I never liked the trade off shredder rocket for suppression. IMO the extra rocket is worth a lot more. However, I always liked the support Rifle Suppression instead of Revive. Much better trade. Like overwatch itself some (most) of the value of Rifle Suppression is not in what it does, but rather in how the AI reacts to it.
