Jul 03, 2014 · WildFly 8 / JSF 2.2 support was originally scheduled for RichFaces 5. We've since decided to focus on getting a 4.5 release of RichFaces out to address JSF 2.2 compatibility. In terms of timing, RichFaces 4.5.0.Alpha3 will be a feature complete Alpha release; we are in the process of stabilizing it now with our QE team.
