Clicking on the issue in the navigator will display a dialog with Xcode offering to add the missing launch image for you: If you accept and allow Xcode to add the missing launch image it will add a file named [email protected] to the project with dimensions of 640 x 1136 pixels.

Xcode 4.5 gives a "Retina 4 support" warning if you don't include a "widescreen" default launch image as part of your project. My problem is that if I don't add the image my app works fine iPhone 5's with the OS adding some letter-boxing to fill in the unused real-estate, but I have a warning I can't get rid of.

Aug 18, 2017 · The Default for Display enlarges all the above, but results in the fuzzy/pixelated text. The Scaled option in preferences does not have the options to enlarge text within the preferences window, like it does in the Retina Display window examples in the page you included.

Oct 20, 2012 · I've tested 1440x900 in OS X and Windows. When you change to it, you're eyes will immediately perceive the retina screen as blurry. However, its really a trick on perception. When I put the Retina (in 1440x900) up to my older MBP and Air, the difference is indistinguishable. However, OS X appears to be aliasing a little different on this screen.

Jan 13, 2014 · I was hoping the latest updates to v29 and the increased support for Android 4.4 would correct this issue, but it still persists. And no folio or article settings seem to correct this issue beyond changing the default file format to JPEG or PNG (which is a no go, to maintain support for retina iPad devices). What gives?
