Apr 13, 2012 · How to enable Remote Tech Support Mode via vsphere client on an esx/esxi host without accessing the service console or DCUI? Is that possible or not? like we can enable the tech support mode from vsphere client by accessing the Configuration Tab.

Since VMware ESXi 4.1 Update 2 and VMware ESXi 5 the warning can be suppressed. When starting the Remote Tech Support (TSM) service it is possible to SSH to the ESXi host.
