Jan 31, 2013 · For Windows XP to be able to use NLA, it must first be updated to SP3. Additionally, I would suggest installing the RDP v.7 update as well since it brings the full functionality of NLA into play.

The easiest way to confirm this is to launch the Remote Desktop tool (Start -> Run -> mstsc) in the upper left hand corner of the title bar left click the icon, then left click About.
