Windows explorer, Windows Photo Gallery, and Windows Media Player all support the codec’s provided by the camera manufactures so why not Media Center. It makes no sense that of all the products the one that lets you view them on TV prevents it.

Oct 25, 2016 · Microsoft ships a set of WIC codecs with Windows 8 and later. These codecs support most (!) of the common RAW formats and hence make this usually seamless. Since you run Windows 7, you will have to install a separate codec. Nikon offers them for free , so there is no problem.
