Dec 01, 2017 · Thx for your answer, but that works only on raw images, doing that on a qcow2 image ends with : qemu-img: qcow2 doesn't support shrinking images yet qemu-img: This image does not support resize So the only official way seems to be, converting the qcow2 image into a useless huge raw image , shrink that and convert it back to qcow2.
