I Did some searches but couldn't find any info on this topic. As you may have seen, psx4all now supports PSP formatted PSX files (eboot.PBP) This works out great for me as all my PSX backups are already in eboot.PBP format.

EBOOT format is .PBP; PS1 format is .cue/.bin; Some games choosen to use PSP EBOOT mostly for space reasons Great example is the 10+ files in PS1 Ace Combat Easier to use PSP format. For control schemes to original games use PSX database.

File support includes all typical disk images as well as PSP PSX Eboots. its 2.99 but a free future update promises native iPad support with configurable buttons. At its current 2x resolution, it doesn't look too shabby and is completely playable.

Jul 12, 2008 · Besides, you realize that if eboot support was added, it'd be an even larger mess of people complaining about not being able to get their games to work because of some faulty eboot compression with one of the various programs out there. As for a Wii port... If that were to ever happen, it'd have to be a long way from now.

Correction: as of June 05 2016, we fully support Eboot PBP format, including multi-CD images. CBN images are the CBIN compressed format invented by Ulrich Hecht for his release of PSX4ALL for Dingoo. The filename extension is 'cbn' despite the utility being named CBIN.
