Jan 20, 2006 · I have a PSP and I had it connected on my network using 802.11G. I used the WEP encryption and it worked fine. Of course I had the setting in mixed. I have since replaced the Linksys WRT54G with the linksys WRT400N with WPA AES/TKIP encryption. The PSP worked fine up until recently. The PSP system does not detect my network at all.

likely your encryption on your wifi is beyond what the PSP will support. if you roll it back from WPA2 to WPA it'll work again. basically, the psp is just that old, and doesn't know how to deal with modern wifi encryption. also be aware, that it'll kill the speed of your wifi down to what the PSP can speak
