Jun 22, 2011 · For some reason a lot of stuff out there, especially anime, is encoded in Matroska – a file format that almost nothing is compatible with. You gotta track down a bunch of codecs to even run it properly on Windows, and then more to get the soft subtitles working. Not a surprise that the PS3 doesn’t recognize the format.
