Promise Ultra is now on IRQ5. The registery does not have an entry of NOIDE or BAD_IDE as stated in the Microsoft articles linked below. I have now exausted all troubleshooting tips that I could find on the forums and web. Tried to chat with a Dell Home PC support rep.. but she directed me to call the 1-800 extended lifetime support number.
