Mar 09, 2010 · Hi Larry, ProClarity 6.3 was released in March of 2007, so Mainstream support would end around 5 years from then. Extended support starts when Mainstream support ends and goes for another 5 years (2017). My understanding of the Extended Support Phase is that there are hotfix and security updates (free) along with fee-based support options.

I am using PDP 6.3. When I try to put a total on my grid, it basically kills ProClarity. So that IT folks have a wake-up call before itβs too late, they should either upgrade their MS product to the latest version of supported MS product or if the product has the option to extend for the support they should opt to avoid last hour panic.

Item the Second: ProClarity & Essbase I have it on very reliable information that ProClarity is very seriously looking at adding Essbase support to their product line. This is fabulous news to me, having been certified back in 2003. ProClarity guys are top dogs in MDX programming.
