Nov 02, 2012 · I have installed windows 8 on a computer. After installation I have used coreinfo to check whether there is (*) in front of NX, PAE and SSE2 or not. But I observed there was (-) in front of NX and PAE while (*) in front of SSE2. Now what does this mean. As you told if there is (*) then it means the system supports the bits.

Jun 08, 2016 · Yes I know they are old but they happily work with Win 7 32 bit and they still have service in them. However I would like to update to Windows 10 but the the Windows 10 update utility says the processor does not support NX, SSE2 and PAE. I have used the Cmd prompt and set NX to always on but to no avail.Reviews: 1
