We are using XAML vector elements for generating maps and floor plans in Silverlight. In this domain printing support is a must. To start with normal printing through the browsers print functionally will do as long as the aspect ratio of the graphics is preserved (this is not the case right now)

Silverlight cannot communicate with a Dell printer. I tried Edge, Chrome, Firefox and even went back to Explorer, but they all show the same problem.

Mar 20, 2009 · When an app using Microsoft Silverlight is running in the browser you at least have the browser’s print features, but a SLOOB (Silverlight Out of Browser, a new feature in Silverlight 3) does not even have that to fall back on. This is unfortunate for business applications, though of course many applications are fine without print features.
