Reply. If you set at designtime A4 as the paper size, the report engine looks at the default printer for the machine (if it's a windows environment) or the default printer that is setup for the ASPNET account, which usually is nothing if this is a web environment.

Apr 04, 2008 · Printer does not support A4 papersize. Please use PaperKind.Custom in your PageSettings or specify a papersize supported by the current printer So I used PaperKind.Custom even though my printer supports A4 very well and specified the dimensions of A4 manually.

Jan 16, 2006 · But, When I added the 'GermanStandardFanFold' as paperkind to the Adobe driver, it worked. If I gave it another name, it was not working anymore. So, this is no solution, because my customers use different printers brands, so with different papernames. I should be able to use the printers default settings, and not the Letter or A4 default.

Mar 21, 2011 · The paper width and lengths are explicitly set instead of using the printer local paper size. I was able to fix this by implementing a own PageSetupDialog which calls a own implementation of PageSettings.CopyToHdevmode. The fixed implementation looks for possible printer local paper sizes before it sets the width and length parameters explicitly.
