If you do not want child support from the father, and you are able to support yourself and your child all by yourself (no food stamps, no subsidize housing, no WIC program, no government health insurance) then go ahead, have your child, don't tell the father (you don't have any legal obligation to tell him) raise your child by yourself and go on about your business.
