Dec 17, 2008 · On the 2950 you go into the bios, select the processor and press enter. In the menu there you have an option to turn on Virtualization Technology. If you check the 2850's specs you see it's capped at the 800MHz bus. If you then go to Intel and look at the Xeon comparison list you can see that the 800MHz FSB puts it in the bottom section.

I have two Dell PowerEdge 2950 I want to use for the vm servers. I plan to use I.P. fail over between the two dell powerdege 2950s.
