Dec 31, 2011 · There is no Apple h.264 codec. There is a h.264 codec. It is not surprising final cut would put out a video not playable by the iPad. There are also many others things to consider-resolution, bitrate, profile level. iPad plays a limited subset of mp4, h.264 video. As pointed out in numerous posts above-read the tech specs.
