Playon isn't a media center app like Plex, Media Portal or NPVR, so it's Roku app sucks in my opinion. When I record something through Playon or my PVR, I remux it to compress the file size, and in the case of a PVR recording, to also change the container to an mp4, and move it to my Plex drive and use it's Roku app to watch.
