Nov 23, 2012 · the only problem with Xbox controller is the triggers. The game registers them as the Z axis on the controller. So you cant have left trigger to zoom and right trigger to fire. i.e. when you zoom with the left trigger, it registers as negative Z axis. Next you fire with the right trigger and it registers as positive Z movement.

Absolutely. Even if planetside 2 doesn't include native controller support, you can always install a program like "xpadder" that will allow you to map keys to buttons. You can even set macros if you're savy. As for the controller, you may have to manually install "microsoft common class xbox controller drivers" via device manager.
