He used to use Picasa for organizing his images. He would email pics to his family directly from within Picasa itself using his Gmail account. Picasa would auto-resize the pics before mailing them. Now as Picasa support has been stopped by Google, he's unable to mail pics to his family from within Picasa

Mar 18, 2012 · I've been using Picasa for years with little issues. Yesterday, I uploaded an album onto my web album and no matter what I try when I try to view them on-line, it tells me "sorry page unavailable". It doesn't do this with any other web album.

Aug 04, 2017 · Picasa finds all faces for a person, and makes a near perfect match most of the time, otherwise has suggestions that are correct, I mean there is no other free software that I have ever seen that does it as goo as Picasa. I Believe Adobe elements can do it, but not as intuitive as Picasa.
