Windows 10 has native support for .mov however Picasa does not seem to recognize that support and as of now Apple does not allow you to install Quicktime on to Windows 10. The option to enable .mov in Picasa is greyed out as a result and can't see or import .mov files now to Picasa. Very frustrating.

Mar 22, 2014 · My MP4 videos were shown in Picasa without sound, K-Lite fixed that for me. K-Lite also allowed me to use the original MTS files of my Sony DSC-HX60V camera in Picasa. To fix the thumbnails, moving files was not needed: I just updated them via the folder context menu in Picasa.
