Perforce server error: License file invalid. Support expired. The IP address of the server is the same as in the license file. The support expiration is "2009/12/18". I downloaded a p4d server older than that date, but that didn't fix it either. I hope someone has some idea what's going on here, I am by no means a Perforce expert.

Most new license files obtained from Perforce can be installed with p4 license, or by copying over the existing license file. However, if the server IP address or port number has changed, you must explicitly "stop" the server: For UNIX, see Stopping the Perforce Service and Starting the Perforce Service.

I believe that only trial licenses are supposed to expire, unless you have negotiated some other licensing agreement with perforce.
