If you are running 32-bit Windows 7, the system can only address 4GB and that includes system BIOSes and graphics memory. 2.87GB is the address space left to use your RAM. If you are running 64-bit Windows 7, enable memory remapping in your BIOS so that hardware addresses are mapped above 4GB and the full 4GB is available to use.

May 17, 2015 · Windows 7 runs very well on most Pentium 4 PCs. If you upgrade the graphics card and put in a decent sound card, you can get windows 7 to run very well on these old legacy PCs. If Windows 10 is supposed to replace Windows 7, Windows 10 should support Pentium 4 and other Legacy PCs.
