Mar 24, 2018 · PSX support starts a little ways in to the 1.5.0 dev builds. The latest builds will work the best, generally speaking. If your PS2 is a slim model, then you won't be able to run PSX games in PCSX2. The slims got rid of the R3000A and emulated it on a different chip, and the resulting BIOS changes don't play nicely in PSX mode.
